LA	$50 1863	The State of Louisiana, Cr-12. A crisp , well centered note with good green color on the back. The only distraction is a light brown stain in the lower left signature block. A popular and attractive note featuring Gen Leonadis Polk "Fighting CSA Bishop" at the center.	EF	$60
NC	$50 1863	The State of North Carolina, Cr-118. A well centered note that has strong signatures and a bright pink overprint at the center. This attractive note has a nice central vignette of Gov. Zeb Vance with flags on each side.	VF-EF	$65
NC	$20 1863	The State of North Carolina, Cr-119. The same central vignette of Gov. Zeb Vance as on the above note, but with a fancy counter at the left and a beehive at the right. A large, bright orange "TWENTY" is below the portrait. The bottom and left margins are fine while the other 2 are trimmed slightly into the design.	EF-AU	$65

		MILITARY PAYMENT CERTIFICATES (MPC)
		These notes were used by our troops overseas and are very colorful and beautiful. Add some of these interesting notes to your collection.
$5	Series 661	A most attractive note mainly in brown with green and red highlights. It is bright, crisp and well centered with sharp corners. This series was in use from 10/21/68 through 8/11/69.	G CU	$18

		FRACTIONAL CURRENCY
Fr 1230	5 Cents	Trimmed close on three sides with the bottom margin full. There is light handling but the colors are excellent and the paper crisp and clean. A nice example of the first issue 5 Cent note.	CH CU	$55
Fr 1230	5 Cents	An attractive partial sheet of 6 notes, 2 across and 3 down. The left margin is close and just touching the design at the lower left while the other 3 are fine. The paper is very crisp with 2 vertical folds, one horizontal one and light handling. A great item for display or to add something different to a nice fractional currency collection.	EF	$275
Fr1242	10 Cents	Another neat partial sheet with the same layout as the 1230 sheet above. The end margins are fine while the top and bottom ones are closer, barely touching the design at the far upper left. Excellent color and crispness with one heavier vertical fold and minor handling.	EF-AU	$275
Fr1295	25 Cents	A nicely embossed note with decent centering on both sides. The top margin is tight while the other 3 are even and well balanced. The colors are bright and the printing quite sharp.	CH CU	$115
