T 10	1861	$10	Liberty seated with eagle at center with CSA flag. A rare note with a small issue of only 170,994 notes. It was cut out cancelled with clear thin tape applied over the cut outs. The tape has stained and distracts from the otherwise good appearance of the note.	F	$100
T 14	1861	$50	Moneta seated by treasure chests at center, sailors at left, fancy counters at right. There are margins all the way around with only the left one trimmed close but just clear of the design. Excellent color and crispness with the initial appearance of a new note.	EF-AU	$130

T 21	1861	$20	Stephens, barrel, cotton bales at center, green overprint. Only 164,248 notes of this type were issued. This is one of the more colorful issues with a nice green overprint at each end and counters just inside towards the portrait. This well circulated note retains good color, but there is a tear at the left and some paper separation along the edges of the fancy CSA watermark. The top and bottom margins are uneven and close at places. A rarer early note that should attract some interest and fill a big hole for a collector.	VG	$300
T 22	1861	$10	Group of Indians at center, red overprint. A scarce and desirable early note with a small issue of but 58,806 notes. The colors are bold and bright but there is a small piece missing at the upper right corner, into the design, but not impairing the major design features. The margins are good and the paper is quite crisp, and the signatures are bold and readable.	F	$375
T 24	1861	$10	R.M.T Hunter at left, child at right, orange overprint. The overprint is light but the note has even wear and good margins with only the bottom one close and islightly into the design at the lower left.	F+	$200
T 25	1861	$10	Hope with anchor at center, Hunter left, Memminger right. A closely margined but deeply embossed note that has good color and bold sigs. A better type with an issuance of only 178,716 notes.	VF	$225
