The Army National Bank of Fort Lewis, WA, 10/3/1929. A basic but still very neat check from this neatly named bank! If only they had issued nationals! It is printed on yellow security paper and has a neat eagle with flag, surrounded by the bank title, at the upper left. I played in an Army golf tournament at Fort Lewis many years ago and the area is just beautiful!

First National Bank of Evergreen Park, Made Especially For__________. We have seen these "checkbooks" from several banks, and they are neat! This one is from a south suburban Chicago town that never did issue notes. Inside are 25 consecutively numbered 1976 $2 notes from the Chicago district. These were used as promotions and the 1976 $2 note was perfect for this purpose. All notes are attached at the top and appear Gem. Several have a minor corner bump or minor handling in the margins, so CH CU. SOLD

The Underwood National Bank Note Reporter and Bankers and Merchants Journal, Chicago, IL, May - June, 1906, Volume XX, Number 2. A neat and seldom seen counterfeit detector loaded with neat information and advertising. A total of 49 pages with the cover detached and somewhat brittle with small pieces missing, none affecting any information or design features. Most all pages are quite nice and solid, some with light stains at the edge but nothing serious at all. Larger size one page supplement included.

This advertising glass stands almost 4" tall, 2 3/4" across at the top with a gold ring at the top. There is a beautifully done picture of the bank in white with "Compliments of Bank of New Glarus" above and "New Glarus, Wis." below. A most unusual advertising item and in excellent condition. For those WI collectors who seek something neat in a bank go-with, this sure fits the bill!
