Misc Stuff Check - 1887 DT $0 First NB, Canton, Dakota, 12/22/1887. A territorial dated check with 2 very sharp vignettes. At left is an ornate, corner bank building. At the right is a farming scene with horses and hay wagon. A larger check which lists the bank officers at the top - F.A and J.H. Gale. Payable thru the First NB of Chicago and stamped as such on the back.

This county is along the river and starts a bit north of Cairo, IL. Drawn by Missouri Public Utilities Company and signed by Mgr at the far left.

Misc Stuff Check - 1913 MT $0 The Treasurer of the City of Great Falls, Cascade County, MT, 1/7/1913. The falls at the lar left, this check is paying for Labor "out of any Money in the Treasury belonging to the STREET FUND". The back is stamped as presented and registered and not paid for want of funds. An interesting Depression era financial document.

Misc Stuff Check - 1872 NV $0 Agency of the Bank of California, Gold Hill, NV, 3/2/1872. A Certificate of Deposit for $500 in U.S. Gold Coin with 5 cent Internal Revenue Stamp and 5 cent green Nevada State Revenue stamp. Printed in blue it is quite attractive and a neat piece of western history. SOLD

Misc Stuff Check - 1918 NM $0 Illinois Brewing Company, Socorro, NM, 2/13/1918. A nice layout adds to its overall appearance. A number of light, closely spaced pink lines run thru the pay to and amount lines on the check. Punch cancelled vertically at the center.

Misc Stuff Check - 1866 NY $0 Geo. Washington Bank, Corning, NY, 7/6/1866. Printed in red with a blue bank check stamp at the upper right. The left side is dominated by a full length image of Washington. The paper is thick and crisp but has some light stains that do not adversely affect its look. A neat item for a Washington collector. SOLD

Misc Stuff Check - 1897 SD $0 Whitewood Banking Company, Whitewood, SD, 6/24/1897. This light blue check comes from a tiny town in far SW SD, between Spearfish and Sturgis. Devils Tower, a famous landmark in the SE part of WY, is featured at the left. A neat check from a popular location!

Misc Stuff Check - 1929 WA $0 The Army National Bank of Fort Lewis, WA, 10/3/1929. A basic but still very neat check from this neatly named bank! If only they had issued nationals! It is printed on yellow security paper and has a neat eagle with flag, surrounded by the bank title, at the upper left. I played in an Army golf tournament at Fort Lewis many years ago and the area is just beautiful!

Misc Stuff Check Book IL - 1976 $0 First National Bank of Evergreen Park, Made Especially For__________. We have seen these "checkbooks" from several banks, and they are neat! This one is from a south suburban Chicago town that never did issue notes. Inside are 25 consecutively numbered 1976 $2 notes from the Chicago district. These were used as promotions and the 1976 $2 note was perfect for this purpose. All notes are attached at the top and appear Gem. Several have a minor corner bump or minor handling in the margins, so CH CU. SOLD

Misc Stuff Bank Plate 1940s $0 Advertising plate featuring a beautifully done picture of the First National Bank of Henry, IL. Approx 3 1/2" across with a beautiful blue border and gold trim. Excellent condition with strong colors and detail and clear glazing. On back "Made in Germany Presented by First National Bank Henry, IL". A very neat and unusual item from a tough central IL town.

Misc Stuff Ctf Detector 1906 $0 The Underwood National Bank Note Reporter and Bankers and Merchants Journal, Chicago, IL, May - June, 1906, Volume XX, Number 2. A neat and seldom seen counterfeit detector loaded with neat information and advertising. A total of 49 pages with the cover detached and somewhat brittle with small pieces missing, none affecting any information or design features. Most all pages are quite nice and solid, some with light stains at the edge but nothing serious at all. Larger size one page supplement included.

Adv Glass 1930s $0 This advertising glass stands almost 4" tall, 2 3/4" across at the top with a gold ring at the top. There is a beautifully done picture of the bank in white with "Compliments of Bank of New Glarus" above and "New Glarus, Wis." below. A most unusual advertising item and in excellent condition. For those WI collectors who seek something neat in a bank go-with, this sure fits the bill!
